Our online persona

This post from the School Library Journal is reminder that all our efforts to promote digital citizenship in the classroom will leave a record, and reputation, for who we are online.

As the authors commented:

The Internet used to be the Wild West. Now that it’s ubiquitous, we’ve ceased to be explorers and are homesteaders. There are lots of personalities involved. Who you are and what you’ve built online comprises your Participatory Online Persona.

We need to ask ourselves, and our students, who we are online. Which one of the 12 profiles best describes us?
